My second contribution to the Papermaking magazine Auction was to "buy now" five pounds of Belgian flax.  The large box arrived this week. It was more than I expected.  A nice note from Amanda Degener telling me she has 200 pounds of the stuff still in case I wanted more. It will take me a bit to get through what I have. Making paper from flax is a process.

I came home to find a package from Logos Graphics in San Francisco. I was highest bidder in an auction to benefit Hand Papermaking magazine. It was a round mould and deckle made by John Sullivan. The Annual Auction is so fun to watch and bid.
